Never knowingly support lies.

Er is veel aandacht gevraagd voor de harde manier waarop het bredere publiek kritiek uitte richting experts die betrokken waren bij het coronabeleid. In deze discussie slaan wetenschappers en journalisten vaak de plank volledig mis. Ik vrees dat hun onbegrip richting de boze menigte hun ogen heeft gesloten voor wat echt fout ging in de wetenschap.

Achter het coronabeleid schuilt een groot probleem: de misvatting dat wetenschap ons ooit zou kunnen vertellen welke politieke keuze moet worden gemaakt.
